Johanna Morgan Richardson is a visual artist based in Perth, Western Australia, working across a number of mediums including Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Print-making and Design. As both Owner and Founder of LITTLE JO STUDIO, Johanna began working on both personal design projects as well as commissioned work for clients in 2015.

Keenly interested in the complexity of identity and the exploration of self, which are key themes of her work, Johannas artistic practice is grounded in a sensitive use of colour and a deep understanding of composition and form. Her artworks are stripped back to the most essential line and shape due to her affinity for simple and organic materials. This simplicity heightens the connection, conversation and wisdom to be experienced.

Johanna's work has received local and international accolades, been displayed in Art Gallery of Western Australia as well as featured in both solo and group exhibitions at A+A Art Gallery, West Elm, Common Ground Collective, Perths Art Upmarket, Ellington Jazz Club, River Road Studios and as well as being featured in various Art Awards, Johanna's work has toured regional Western Australia and exhibited in Japan’s Ueno Royal Museum.
